Vendor Contribution to Administration & Base Marketing Fee

At the time of listing your business with The Business Brokers Team, you are required to make a contribution towards the costs incurred in getting your business to the market in a way that will give it maximum market exposure and a highly professional level of presentation, while retaining the level of confidentiality that you designate. This fee also covers the cost of arranging and administering any higher profile advertising that we arrange on your behalf and at your cost.

The fee contributes to the costs of the following:

  1. Entering your business onto the Harcourts business computer system.
  2. Entering your business onto The Business Brokers Team Business List.
  3. Preparing a basic profile and storyboard for your business.
  4. Preparing the marketing presentations and entering your business onto four internet websites, namely; Harcourts, Grenadier, realestate.co, & nzbizbuysell.
  5. Collating, sorting and organizing the information you have supplied to us and then preparing a memorandum of information for presentation to qualified prospective buyers.
  6. Establishing computer files for sending profiles & info-packs (PDF) to qualified buyers.
  7. Preparing and placing display advertisements in The Press.
  8. Preparing and placing advertising in The Business Brokers Team’s high profile, monthly composite advertisements.
  9. The cost of printing & binding info-packs for presentation to qualified buyers.
  10. The costs of qualifying prospective buyers, postage, communication & office overheads.

It is estimated that the minimum cost of launching your business to the market, in a thorough & professional manner, is a minimum of $1,500.00 plus GST. We meet these costs in partnership with you.

To get maximum market response, we recommend that you consider additional high-profile market exposure through feature advertising on nzbizbuysell, The Press full colour feature advertising packs, Bluebook and Key Assets magazine advertising, site signage (if confidentiality is not an issue) and additional The Press display advertising. Your broker will arrange this for you at special prices that have been pre-negotiated with the media suppliers.
